About Us

Justockfootage.com has brought together two award winning cinematographers. They have produced thousands of stock clips designed for the demanding professional. The group has devoted substantial resources creating this targeted collection with talent cleared and rare footage not available any where else.

The thousands of hours of unique footage have been created over a span of thirty years both domestically and internationally. This footage is now available for the first time through justockfootage.com. The collection is a work in progress and will be continually expanded by adding footage from the existing collection, as well as producing new footage to build additional titles. The goal of the company is to offer exclusive footage as assets and tools for the creative professionals in the entertainment and advertising market.

At justockfootage.com we believe that it’s not the medium that makes the product; it’s the subjects that set us apart. Each clip is a short story onto itself that can contribute to and enhance any production project by seamlessly blending with its content.

Peter Haklar

Peter has been in the film and video industry for over 35 years. He originally started out as a still photographer through which he developed his own distinctive visual approach and perspective of the world around him. His love for the film industry was first realized when he started working for an independent Hollywood film studio back in the late 1970s. While working at the studio he had the opportunity to work with the worlds best cinematographers, directors, and crews on hundreds of commercials, dozens of feature films, and music videos. The time he spent at the studio was invaluable to him by having the opportunity to expand his skills working with the very best film professionals in the industry.

In 1987 Peter started his own production company with a similarly talented business partner. The company went on to produce hundreds of projects for broadcast, documentaries, educational and independent productions giving him the opportunity to continue to use his talent and skills shooting and directing. Throughout the years he has garnered four Telly Awards, a Parents Choice Award, and the Software Councils acknowledgment for his educational software products.  In 1998 Peter and his business partner started the first company (DVC-Direct) that put pre-edited thematic video collections on CD-ROM, creating a new way to sell stock footage.
